Soda Creek Kitchen
A mobile catering company in Kerikeri, started by chef Colin Ashton and Rachael Goldfinch after a decade running Food at Wharepuke. We've worked with them for 10 years on the logo, business cards, vehicle and road signage, team uniforms and website. This year we moved the website off its old platform and rebuilt it with a fresh, more stylish design.
The website
Ten years on, rebuilt around the food.
This year we moved Soda Creek's website off its old platform and rebuilt it from scratch with a more stylish design: large food photography, the badge over a black-and-white photo of Colin at work, and clear routes to weddings, events and private catering.
We kept the slate and mist colours from the old site so returning clients still feel at home, and added a venues and suppliers directory, client reviews, and an enquiry form that asks for the date, guests and location up front.

Couples and event organisers often browse on their phones. Every page, from the menus to the enquiry form, works at phone size.
The brand
A well-worn knife and fork, crossed.
The mark is a real carving knife and fork, crossed like a signature. It sits inside a round badge reading Bay of Islands · New Zealand, in navy or light blue, and in a landscape lockup with the Catering Specialists line for the website and uniforms.
Slate navy and soft mist keep it calm and grown-up. A hand-lettered script carries each founder's name, so every piece feels personal.

Rounded-corner business cards share a charcoal front with each person's name hand-lettered over a faded knife and fork. The backs change colour: blue for Colin, soft grey for Rachael and pink for the weddings line.
